Calculate basic statistics
Now that the data are wrangled and plotted, we can analyze them. There are a lot of ways to analyze data in R. Here, we start with some basic descriptive statistics, correlations, t-tests, and ANOVAs
Learning objectives
- Refresh how to calculate descriptive statistics
- Calculate Pearson’s, Kendall’s, and Spearman’s correlations
- Calculate one-way, independent, and paired t-tests and Wilcoxon tests
- Calculate between-subjects and within-subjects ANOVAs
- Extract statistics from the objects
